Monica Banghard of Budd Lake was seen by a police officer making a left turn from Route 206 onto Chestnut Way, nearly colliding with oncoming traffic, police said in a news release.

When the officer pulled her over, two hypodermic syringes fell to the front passenger floor while Banghard searched for her car's registration and insurance -- prompting a search of her vehicle.

Police found one more syringe, 11 glassine baggies of suspected heroin and two partial Xanax pills, authorities said.

Banghard was taken to police headquarters and charged with several drug-related and driving charges. She was arrested on similar charges in September 2017.

Banghard was released pending a court hearing.
